City of Valley appoints new Police Chief
VALLEY, Neb. — June 13, 2024 —The City of Valley has appointed Bobby Martinez as Chief of Police, effective on June 11, 2024.
Chief Martinez has several years of law enforcement and leadership, and we are excited to welcome him and his family to Valley.
Chief Martinez started his career with the Morrill County Sheriff’s Office in Bridgeport, NE. He left Bridgeport and joined the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office in Sidney, NE where he was the School Resource Officer for all county schools. He left Sidney and took the Job as Chief of Wymore Police Department in Wymore, NE. Chief Martinez also retired from the Navy after 20 years of service in June of 2014.
