City Park Improvements
City Council awards bid!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn July 9, 2024 the City Council approved the first phase of improvements to the Valley City Park. Construction will begin in mid-August and is expected to be completed by next Spring. Improvements will be focused on the east side of the park and include the following:
- Three additional pickle ball courts.
- Sand volleyball court.
- New basketball court.
- Three additional shelters, with power.
- 24 additional parking spots, including additional handicapped spots.
- 41 new trees.
Information will be provided in early August regarding park access and restrictions during construction.
